SURJ Sacramento currently has two opportunities for education about the history of white supremacy in the United States, the history and present movement for Black liberation, and how to get involved with the racial justice movement. The purpose of these courses is to help mobilize folks to show up in solidarity with people of color-led movements in Sacramento in ways that are helpful, not harmful, to those movements. These classes are especially helpful for white folks who are learning about white supremacy and working toward dismantling it in their own lives as well as decolonizing their educations.

There is also information below about our Community Meetings which happen once every three months. These are a great way to connect with the chapter and get plugged into local racial justice movements and typically include a discussion/education/action piece.
